Our 2010 event … almost there!

Well, things have been a bit quiet here at our blog, but we’ve been working hard to plan and promote our upcoming series of talks featuring Dr. Craig A. Evans which are now only a couple days away.

All the details, locations, etc. for these talks are available on the schedule at our main website, but here is a quick run down of what we have planned.

Starting Friday, we have:

  • Fabricating Jesus: How Modern Scholars Distort the Gospel, which is a breakfast starting at 9 am at Full Gospel Tabernacle for local pastors and other ministry leaders.
  • The New Testament: Reliable, Relevant and Redemptive, is a talk for Christian post-secondary students & faculty at 1 pm at Rocky Mountain College.
  • Finally, in the evening, Is the Bible Reliable History?: A Discussion, is an interactive forum being held at the UofC starting at 5:45 pm.

Then on Saturday:

  • At 9 am our main seminar, The Origins of Christianity & the Importance of the Dead Sea Scrolls, starts at Full Gospel Tabernacle. This seminar is $20 at the door (all other talks are free of charge).
  • Later that evening, at 7 pm, our youth event, Why We Trust the Bible, will also be held at FGT.

Lastly, on Sunday, at Full Gospel Tabernacle’s 10 am morning service we will be holding our last official talk, The Crux of Christianity: Evidence for the Resurrection.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend.
