Finding God in Science
There are only two options on how the universe came to be: by chance or design. Either the universe came from nothing with no purpose OR the universe was planned by an Intelligent Designer who finely-tuned it for life. At Faith Beyond Belief’s Be Ready 2019 conferences in Calgary and Edmonton, hear scientists explain how God can be found in science. Other topics include how to love our gay neighbours without compromising Biblical truth, the problems with naturalism and how to speak to skeptics about God.

Some of the presentations you'll hear from our speakers:
Science Confirms Biblical Creation
Ironically, many scientists attempt to disprove the Bible using disciplines like genetics and geology. But these fields continue to produce research that confirms the Bible. What steps should we take to promote biblical creation? What has science revealed?
Truth Never Gets Old
Our culture is deeply confused about truth and is drowning in a sea of relativism. In this talk we'll look at the nature of truth, distinguish objective truth from subjective truth, and then test our understanding of truth. The results are eye-opening for students and adults alike, as many Christians find themselves affirming relativism. Finally, we'll examine objections to truth and discover why the truth really matters.
Is God Anti-Gay?
It's the hot topic of the moment. Christians, the church and the Bible seem to be out of step with modern attitudes towards homosexuality. And there is growing hostility towards those who hold a different view. So is God homophobic? And what do we say, and how do we relate to both Christians and non Christians who experience same-sex attraction.
Pastor Sam Allberry, who also personally deals with homosexuality, wants to help confused Christians understand what God says about these questions in the scriptures, and offers a positive and liberating way forward through the debate.
