MARCH 29—LIVE IN Medicine HaT | Live-stream TO multiple locations

Afternoon TRAINING : 1 – 4:30 PM | Evening Training: 7 – 9 PM

PLEASE REGISTER to receive info on the locations and live-stream options

This event is for Christians who want to engage our political leaders and media as winsome ambassadors for Christ. Speakers come from the political and media world and will share how we can engage our cultural and political leaders so they can understand that the Christian worldview has something positive to contribute to our cultural discussions. At these training events, we’ll discuss how Christians can graciously shape public policy, talk to reporters, and engage our neighbours without compromise.

PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to make the event more accessible, we have moved our Public Policy Training event to one location and will be live-streaming it across the province on March 29th. We are blessed to have a church in Medicine Hat who is already set up for live-streaming and willing to assist us with this effort to reach every corner of the province.

You can attend one of your live-stream locations at no cost, or you can watch from home for $25 and we will send you a link to the live-stream event. We encourage you to host a viewing party and invite your family and friends to watch this important event. Please ensure your internet can handle video streaming (our tech team will email you two days prior to the event to run a test stream).

Robert Anders is a former Calgary Member of Parliament and a founding member of the Conservative Party of Canada. He was known for raising conservative issues on Parliament Hill. Though his politics may be controversial, even his political opponents admitted that his staff were some of the best trained and astute workers. In his presentation, Anders will share about how Christians can engage the political system and successfully bring our issues to the national conversation.

Jojo Ruba

Jojo equips Christians to be effective ambassadors for Christ for everyday conversations. He has spoken at venues that include Sunday morning services, secular debates at universities and morning chapels at Christian schools.

Jojo focuses on practical ways to defend the faith. He teaches Christians how to explain their worldview using tools that non-Christians can understand. For example, he helps audiences think of the right questions to ask non-believers not just the right answers they ought to give.

Jojo earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Masters in Political Science from Carleton University in Ottawa. He is executive director of Faith Beyond Belief, based in Calgary, AB, Canada.
